Let us rejoice now,
celebrate Christmas -
birth of the Christ Child,
gift of God's Son;
welcome the Saviour,
promised Messiah;
let us rejoice in
all God has done.
Let us rejoice now,
sing out with gladness,
Christ comes amongst us -
grace from above;
comes from the Father,
showing compassion,
full of God's kindness,
mercy and love.
Let us rejoice now,
tell of salvation,
Jesus the Saviour
died for our sin;
rose from the sealed tomb,
offers forgiveness,
gives us his Spirit
living within.
